Introduction : Elias Khoury (senior advocate, Jerusalem).  Mr Khoury will outline how the recent conflict unfolded from the perspective of Israel and the West Bank, and the legal responses to it.

Panel II on the Use of Force (jus ad bellum)
This panel will examine claims of self defence, etc given at the beginning of the conflict in the light of international law.
